At sea, on land – without borders
Safe Water, Safe Land is a foundation, the aim of which is to reach those corners of the world deprived of access to education in first aid and rescue trainings, as well as to promote first aid among travellers and sailors.
Our workshops and meetings reach places far from civilization, to raise awareness of health issues, increase security and safekeeping and show how little it takes to save someone’s life.
We raise this awareness and need for regular first aid training not only at the ends of the world, but also in Europe - among people performing sport activities, active recreation, among young and experienced travellers.
Teaching first aid is our main goal – we organize trainings for teachers in schools across Asia and Africa, to show and teach how to save lives and help others in an emergency.
moreWe also try to address local needs and bring drugs and medical materials to the places that we visit while simultaneously sharing our experience and medical knowledge.
moreRaising awareness among travellers, sailors and sport enthusiasts is integral to our mission too - practice first aid and travel the world well-prepared!
moreTraining, information and help is to reach especially those countries, places, and local communities that are particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
moreFOUNDATION IS BEING MADE BY PEOPLE. EVERY DAY.
Our most important resources are the people who created the foundation: specialist rescuers and emergency responders – lifeguards, mountain rescuers, caver rescuers, qualified paramedics and doctors. We have been teaching together in the field of rescue and first aid for years and decided to go beyond our comfort zone and to reach people who are in a greater need.

SAFE WATER SAFE LAND EXPEDITIONS
First Safe Water, Safe Land projects – though not yet officially as the Foundation, but as a group of friends-rescuers, were realized in East Asia (Thailand and Malaysia) at the end of 2014 and beginning of 2015. AdrenaLTika (www.adrenaLTika.pl) was the sponsor of that project and the action was named AdrenaLTika Asia Tour 2015. We have conducted several trainings for groups of tourists and divers, another for Polish crew of the cruise round the Phang Nga bay in Thailand and for several groups of residents in Kelantan - area affected by the floods in Northern Malaysia. The energy that was created during this project accelerated Safe Water, Safe Land formation to the Foundation form and opened prospects for next projects, planned at larger scale.
